HTTP/2 standard

Internet servers will be transitioning over to HTTP/2 standard, which is a means for "pages [to] load faster by removing the need for your browser to download and process the HTML document describing a page before it can request-one at a time-every image, video, or other piece of content embedded into a site. Instead, the Web server can send all the files needed in one go when a browser first requests the page's HTML." "Google's Chrome and Mozilla's Firefox browsers already fully support HTTP/2, including server push, and Apple is testing support for that feature. Microsoft has said its Edge browser, which recently replaced Internet Explorer, will support all HTTP/2 features in the future." Hence, browsers will have to have this feature, for ground based users to work, but how ViaSat will integrate this standard is unknown. Exede's AceleNet technology is already doing this, where they bundle up these page elements, and then send it in whole. So, with this standard, ViaSat's equipment would only have to make one page reequest, instead of many, with the end result their system should have less loading, at their end. Interesting the other day, I could not bring up Photobucket for several hours, and then it worked again, but via proxy, I had no issues. Maybe not related, or maybe it was...I don't know why this happened. Maybe its time to use Fiddler, and see what's happening.
