WOW, so I just moved out to a place about 1 hour 45 min west of Chicago, and it appears that only this company provides internet service. The kicker, it's metered! So they got no such thing as unlimited internet out here. It is the craziest thing I have ever seen. I am 43 years old, and have seen no internet, and then dial up speeds, then dsl, then cable come about. I am shocked there are places in the United States of America that do not have unlimited internet service. It isn't like the 3rd world, it is the 3rd world. I always wondered why poor people out in the rural parts of the country voted republican. NOW, I get it the services out her are a joke, and the people out here have no idea how much better it is in areas they didn't grow up in so they in turn remain ignorant ( not an insult just means not educated formally). Anyway Exede/WildBlue ugh what can I say its a joke that they charge for download usage per gig. I guess that fits into their free market mentality. Rape them as much as they can, as long as they can, and then wonder why your customers are dying for some competitor to come in and wipe you out with modern day services.
