Consumers on VS-1 with 150GB plans have complained about extremely low speeds, like shown above, 24x7 since Viasat introduce a policy update like this one.. These seem to be "fast speeds," and I've seen much lower speeds.
As stated in this update, "This update clarifies that this is the median speed (25Mbps) you should expcect, when measured across 24 hours in a day for these service plans
I have seen high ping times (latency) like this one at 1.9 seconds, and the above two at 1.6seconds and 2.9seconds, which were common during Wildblue's DAMA days
If the policy update cited above is evaluated in terms of user experiences expressed there, it seems IT has fumbled the ball with incorrect CISCO coding. They indicated they are being throttled 24x7.
Note - This is happening to users who have claimed they have not used up their data bucket.
