I live in central PA, and would like some feedback from other users in the state (preferably on the same beam(s).
I am in an area that sadly doesn't have the unlimited plans (yet anyway).
1-The download speed listed on the liberty plans is 12Mbps, but it doesn't list upload speed. What is it?
2-Realistically, what can I expect for throttled speeds after priority data is used up (both download and upload)? I'm on 1.5/.384 DSL, so anything above that is great.
3-Can the video data extender nonsense be disabled on the liberty plans? For some it might be nice, but I just want a simple connection.
4-Can I bridge out the gateway and just use it as a modem? I have my own home network, and just need a pipe and a public IP address handed to my router.
4B-Is there a modem only option? Worth an ask.
5-Is there some punitive amount of data usage per month that if you go over it repeatedly your account gets terminated? I have cloud backups of multiple TB of data, so the connection is going to be under high utilization nonstop.
Since I know someone will probably do this: I do NOT want quotes from the product page, I want REAL WORLD FEEDBACK from how the service ACTUALLY works. I know this comes off a bit brash, but there are people out there that tend to skim and ignore important points.
