Good news: Exede's Freedom plan has just been offered as an option for my address! $100/m for 12Mb; $110/m for 25Mb (w/ Boost)
Question for those who had this offered back in 2014 for $70/m: Is your rate still $70/m ... or has it crept up to $100/m?
We've been on the fixed-rate Recovery plans for many years. If we move to Freedom, we will lose our Recovery options forever. It is a one-way door. Freedom's data cap and rate are both favorable compared to our current Recovery Platinum plan -- but I'm hesitant to leave a "good thing." Specifics:
* Data Cap would more than double (60GB/m to 150GB/m)
* Rate would decrease $20/m ($120/m to $100/m)
* We'd lose the Late Night Free Zone (we use it ~2x/m for system updates)
* Yes, we tend to fully consume the present 60GB every month -- but, given our generally careful usage patterns, we hit it right at the end of each monthly cycle. Yes, I'd love more data -- it would allow me to watch more training videos online rather than ordering the DVD version, when offered.
At $70/m this would have been a no-brainer ... ;-)
Thoughts? Thanks!
